Review and haul: The Iconic

Hi! Today I am back with a website review for theiconic.com.au which is an Australian online shopping website for both men and women.
I made my first ever purchase around two weeks ago and wanted to share my thoughts.

My package came in a very big padded bag which looked like this:

Here is what's inside the bag =)

1.  Allegra Criss Cross Sandals by Atmosphere - $62.97 (on sale)

These sandals are casual and comfortable, perfect for Summer. They are made out of leather and run true to size. The slight chunky heel is the perfect height in terms of comfort. However, if you are on the shorter side these may not be too flattering as they cut you off at the ankles. Some of you guys may think that these look granny-ish but I cannot walk in stillettos for the life of me. They were also nicely wrapped in a sturdy shoebox.

The only problem I have with these is that the holes on the strap is so small that it's hard to pull it through the buckle. Other than that I think that they are a great pair of sandals.

2. Jakko by Ted Baker - $44.95
I have wanted this makeup bag for the longest time so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it on The Iconic. I'll admit that it's pricey for the a makeup bag but...it is so pretty! I don't actually wear makeup but this bag is perfect for putting those miscellaneous items that you have in your purse. While the outside is made out of a plastic material, the interior is gorgeously lined with a satin-like fabric.

3. Daisy Diamond Ring by Karen Walker - $69.30 (on sale)

Dainty rings are super popular and on trend at the moment. I love how they're minimal yet chic. This is my first Karen Walker piece and I love the packaging! The ring itself is also super cute! I bought the ring in a size small which I believe is equivalent to a size 6. I'm usually around a size 5.5 so the ring is a little loose, but luckily it won't fall off my finger if I wear it so I guess it's all good.

Shipping
The Iconic has very fast shipping. If you're in Sydney they have overnight shipping which is free over $50 or you can pay $9.95 to have it delivered within 3 hours.
I made my order on Friday night and it arrived at around 7:15am on the following Tuesday. If I had made my order on Monday I'm pretty sure it would have also arrived on Tuesday but because the makeup bag and the ring were low in stock I put my order in on Friday.

Customer Service
For the most part, the customer service is pretty good. I used the Live Chat option and they replied pretty quickly. The only issue I had was one of the staff members told me that the ring had a 5cm diameter which is impossible...and kept telling me that he was right. However, he did a double-check and gave me the correct details shortly after.

Pricing/coupons
In my opinion, the products on The Iconic are reasonably priced, especially for designer products. They also have coupons that are readily available; if you are a student you can get 15% off through Unidays/Student Edge which is what I used. I also used the Australian cashback website called Starthere which I talked about in my post here.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase from the Iconic and I would repurchase from them again.

Anyways, Christmas is in 2 days...so MERRY CHRISTMAS =)
