throwback: 2012 Vivid Sydney

As some of you guys may know, Vivid is approaching this time next week!
For those of you who aren't from Sydney, Vivid is a light show festival which displays light installations and projections.

Last year I went to Vivid for the first time and I thought that it was amazing!
I would definitely recommend going but make sure you dress warm as it gets pretty damn cold at night in the city.
It's also pretty crowded but you can still have a good time and it's an event where all ages are welcome =)

Vivid includes light displays as well as interactive installations. However, last year the interactive ones had huge lines so I would suggest getting there early.
The Vivid light festival runs from the 24th of May until the 10th of June this year.
Also, it's free!

So since there's only a week until Vivid, I thought that I would share some of the photos that I took last year just to give you guys an idea about what kinds of things to expect if you're planning on going and to share my experiences with those of you who can't make it! I hope ya enjoyyy =)

The pretty Sydney Harbour Bridge! Apparently this year you'll be able to "paint" the bridge via some touch screen thing- sounds pretty cool!

The colours of the lights actually changed!
Sydney Opera House:

The next few photos are interactive light displays =):
So I hope you guys enjoy these photos. I'm not 100% sure if I'll be going to Vivid this year just because I'm so busy!
But if I do, I'll definitely post pictures! =)

  1. That looks like so much fun! I think Montreal has something like that, it's called Festival of Lights but I don't think I've ever went to see it.

Omg, that piranha is so cool looking!

I'm having a giveaway on my blog, do check it out!
